It's a wonderful graphical representation of the differences between Eastern and Western mentality (Lui was born in China but spent much of her life in Germany). Today, on the excellent blog <a href="http://www.brainpickings.org/" target="_blank">Brain Pickings</a>, I saw <a href="http://www.brainpickings.org/index.php/2012/01/31/paris-vs-new-york-muratyan/" target="_blank">Paris vs. New York</a> by Vahram Muratyan, which is extremely similar in layout and idea, if not exactly the same, but it clearly works just as well.&nbsp;</p>

How couldn't you? If you don't do either, stop reading, Google it, and then look at it until you appreciate it. We also all know how messed up it is geographically speaking, but that's OK as it's clear to understand thanks to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tube_map" target="_blank">Beck <span>mapping it&nbsp;</span>topologically</a>, and anyway,&nbsp;it's so lovely to look at.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Metrography, designed by&nbsp;Benedikt Gro&szlig;<span>&nbsp;and&nbsp;</span>Bertrand Clerc<span>&nbsp;shows London as it would be if geography followed topography. Good fun.&nbsp;</span></p>

I wish I had taken more photos of the use of language, it was just wonderful. The only one I really remember was on a banner on the TV news. It said that someone had been taken to hospital after being manhandled. You just don't see 'manhandled' enough nowadays. Anyway, this is a flier pinned to a palm, advertising what seems to be some kind of trancy/poi event that has poing, stuff <em>and</em> doublestuff! Doublestuff. My favourite kind.</p>
